Abstract

The diagnosis, clinical signs, treatment, and outcome of rupture of the calcaneofibular ligament of the hock of a dog is described. The importance of a complete understanding of the anatomy of the collateral ligaments of the hock, both for correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment, is emphasized.
