Abstract
AbstractEvery pholographic gelatin contains aldehyde precursors which decompose under severe environmental conditions. Thc aldehydes released are wholly or partially, according to the conditions, inactivated by the sulphur dioxide associated with the gelatin. The efficiency of the inactivation decreases in the order: Formaldehyde> Melhylglyoxal> Malonicaldehyde.
