Abstract
We suggest that the eight conserved vector currents generated by $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ gauge transformations, to which vector mesons are coupled, are related to the divergence of antisymmetric tensor currents. This leads to generalized Goldberger-Treiman relations. We predict $\ensuremath{\Gamma}(\ensuremath{\varphi}K\overline{K})\ensuremath{\simeq}3.3$ MeV, in agreement with experiments (3.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6 MeV).
