Abstract

In a completely saturated fractional factorial the two factor interactions are confounded in particular subsets with the main effects. It is possible to choose two different completely saturated factorials with different sets of interactions confounded with any given main effect. Examination of the numerical results obtained with each of the saturated designs will usually make it possible to identify two factor interactions when present.
