Abstract

Political parties are key to a functioning democracy. They are the sole contributors to start political communications, an to relay all the messages on projects and policies to masses, while motivating socio-political participation. Therefore, it is imperative that the parties themselves must exhibit democratic structure. And the key indicator for this structure is the very existence of democracy within the party. The success of political communication definitely depends on an operational in-party democracy and a democratic organizational structure. Some countries have unfortunately incorporated a “straight ticket” apprehension or acumen, that depends solely on a leader. Needles to say, all political decisions, action plans and mass political communication focuses on the leader. Accordingly, the party falls way behind the leader, becomes an idle or inert giant organization, pending and depending on the leader’s decisions. The leader as a political actor who is the most important parts of political communication process because of the operation of the system are more in view. On the other hand, how the ideological sides of political actors affect their political communication process is an important discussion topic today.
