Abstract

A 43-year-old man developed Parsonage-Turner syndrome shortly after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. The patient presented to the hospital 5 days after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine to the right shoulder complaining of severe right shoulder pain, right upper extremity swelling, and weakness. Clinical examination, physical examination, and magnetic resonance imaging findings were consistent with Parsonage-Turner syndrome. It is important that Parsonage-Turner syndrome remains in the differential diagnosis in a patient with severe shoulder pain and weakness after the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine.
