Abstract
Parity non-conservation effects in the decays of autoionisable states of two-electron atoms and ions arising in the presence of neutral weak currents are considered. The degree of the photon circular polarisation and electron emission asymmetry P is calculated. The value of P is of order 10-6 for photon emission and 10-8 for electron emission in the Weinberg model (1972).
