Abstract

Cardiovascular (CV) disease is the leading cause of mortality in women. Young women with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) have up to a 30-fold risk of CV mortality. Parity is associated with CV disease in the general population, but whether parity influences CV risk in women with CKD is unknown. This study aimed to determine the association between parity and CV risk in women with CKD.
