Abstract

An m-vector classical spin glass in a field is studied at the mean-field level in terms of a Parisi replica symmetry breaking scheme. Solutions for the mean-field equations are presented which have important consequences for the irreversibility of the spin glass phase and clearly indicate the relevance of reduced temperatures scaling as H2, H, H23/.
