Abstract
From the perspective of Themes in the Study of Human Development, we can find a good number of theories advocated to explore and entail the development of human being differently by different theorist. Since there have been many themes proposed in the developmental science about different aspects of human development, it gives birth of theoretical controversy—Nature VS nurture, Passive VS Active, Continuity VS Discontinuity, holistic approach etc. In the process of generating, testing, and confirming or disconfirming these theories, a very basic set of themes has emerged that nearly every theory addresses. Of the different developmental controversy, we will turn our review on only the nature vs. nurture controversy and specifically will discuss about environmental (Nurture approach) influence on the development and more specifically the parental influence on development of adolescents.
