Abstract
The disintegration of family relationships and the need for models of parenting is presented. A theological model of parenting is proposed. Seven mutually interdependent dimensions of God the Father's love for humanity are isolated and discussed. It is proposed that Christian parenting is to reflect the seven dimensions of the Father's love: care, respond, discipline, give, respect, know, and forgive.
