Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic necessitated adaptation from in-person to on-line delivery of interventions for autistic children. This article explores the potential of delivering the Sensory-based Relational Art Therapy Approach (S-BRATA) on-line through a case study based on a triadic relationship, including the therapist, a mother and her two autistic sons. The vignettes of the sessions illustrate how the therapist facilitated relational artmaking based on the framework, employing the mother as the third hand to engage her sons. The case study affirms the online deliverability of the S-BRATA mediated by a caregiver.
