Parasitic and saprophytic fungi on the species in the genus Paulownia

Abstract

The species in the genus Paulownia are distributed in Asia. In Serbia, the most represented species is P. tomentosa, widely used as an ornamental species in town green spaces. Other species - P. fortunei and P. elongata are also cultivated in forest plantations. The aim of this paper is to present the most frequent parasitic and saprophytic fungi on the species in the genus Paulownia and to point out their significance. Phyllactinia guttata, Ascochyta paulowniae and Phyllosticta paulowniae were described on the leaves and Diaporthe eres and Botryosphaeria obtusa were described on the bark.

МАТЕРИЈАЛ И МЕТОД

Гљиве су детерминисане у лабораторији, применом стандардних метода у фитопатологији. Анализирани су изглед и величина плодоносних тела, споронос них органа и органа за репродукцију. Врсте које нису образовале фруктификације, идентификоване су на основу култура добијених изолацијом и гајеним на вештач ким хранљивим подлогама. Основни метод изолације састојао се у томе да су биљни делови најпре сте рилисани у Na-хипохлориту са садржајем 1,5% активног хлора у трајању од 5 ми нута, а затим су сечени на фрагменте и стављани на хранљиву подлогу - малц екстракт агар (МЕА). Добијени изолати држани су у термостатима на температури од 20°C. На основу тога је извршена детерминација за коју су коришћени кључеви Dennis -a (1978), Ellis -aиEllis -a (1985), Sutton -a (1980) иFunk-a (1985). Гљиве које изазивају трулеж дрвета идентификоване су на основу изгледа плодоносних тела - карпофора
