Abstract
Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system mostly associated with antibodies to AQP-4. It is generally idiopathic, but it is frequently associated with systemic autoimmune disorders and in some cases with neoplasm. We propose a case of NMOSD associated with breast cancer and potentially with its treatment.
