Abstract
A computer simulation of a shallow implanted nuclide alpha-decay spectrum is reported. A 2-dimensional parametrization procedure is proposed. Comparison is made with a spectrum of 211Po nuclei produced in a heavy-ion-induced nuclear reaction measured with a totally depleted (overdepletion ratio = 1.2) silicon radiation detector. Particles detection was performed from the rear contract of the detector.
