Abstract

A parametric approach to the analysis of the data of flow cytometry is considered. In the framework of this approach, two models are proposed and are compared with the use of a criterion based on the analysis of the tails of distribution functions. Some properties of the estimates related to this criterion are also proved. In particular, it is shown that the power of test tends to unity as the number of observations in a sample increases.
