Abstract

A series of tests have been performed at different liquid (water) deliveries to gas blower to determine the influence of recirculation intensity on machine performance characteristics. It is shown that, depending on the recirculation intensity, stratification of experimental points typical for a specific recirculation degree is negligible, so the obtained data can be approximated by the same curve. It is proved that elevation of head (pressure) with increase in mass air flow rate is typical for rotary machines and elevation of head with increase in recirculation degree stems from the fact that the gas content of the liquid ring diminishes.
