Abstract

A report is given of the principal characteristics of fluorescent screens determined directly by means of photographic and other test objects. It is shown that, under transient recording conditions, the spatial frequencies in an image decay rapidly with time. Fluorescent screens are used to show that the parameters of a converter can be predetermined by its geometric configuration and thermal properties.
