Abstract

This paper aims to put forward a rapid method to optimize the critical parameters and generate more accurate outputs from the nonlinear PDE (Partial Differential Equation) systems. Based on the 2-dimensional uneven potential and current density distribution model of Li-ion battery, by combining the gradient method: the Levenberg-Marquardt method (LM method), and the gradient-free method: Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), the critical electrical parameters are optimized. The good results verifies that the LM method is a more efficient and accurate algorithm for the parameter optimization of nonlinear systems.
