Abstract

The paramagnetic properties of single-crystalline GdRh2Si2 are investigated by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The almost isotropic paramagnetic resonance is characterized by a spin dynamics of coupled Gd3+ – conduction electron spins. Towards magnetic ordering the spin relaxation is dominated by ferromagnetic in-plane spin fluctuations.
