Abstract

Advances in solid-state lighting technology have made light-emitting diodes (LEDs) become the next generation of light source. High-power LED lamps usually consist of many low-power LED units or modules connected in the form of multiple parallel-connected strings. This article provides an overview of the various current-balancing techniques for paralleled LED strings.
