Abstract

The problem of selection optimization of different-type power plants and their operation mode in water supply system booster pumping stations with frequency stability of pressure is considered in this paper. The mathematical model of booster pumping station operation is recorded as a nonlinear multiobjective mixed-integer problem of mathematical programming. Necessary data for optimization problem definition: the structure of daily water consumption by consumers and resistance of a water-supply system were found on the basis of the full-scale experiment results. Comparison of booster pumping station operation optimal plans when using different combinations of centrifugal pumps has allowed defining such a set of power plants due to which energy efficiency of the water supply system is increased crucially.
