Abstract
The paper points out the existence of geometrical models representing the parallel decomposition of a lumped linear 3-terminal RC network whose short-circuit admittances have cubic denominators. These models lead immediately to numerical algorithms whereby the question of the various modes of additive decomposition of a given short-circuit admittance matrix can be examined using a digital computer. Some illustrative results for an example originally given by Lucal are included. The paper only considers explicitly the case in which all poles of the admittance matrix are compact.
