Abstract
This paper is concerned with the stability and accuracy of time domain integral equation (TDIE) methods for analysis of transient scattering by 3D dielectric objects. The time domain PMCHW integral equations are adopted with the equivalent surface polarization and magnetization as unknown sources. The RWG spatial basis functions and quadratic B-spline temporal basis functions are employed. Parallel computation is implemented for handling of large-size problems. Numerical examples show that the present approach is stable and accurate.
