Abstract
In the estuary of the Srednyaya River (Sakhalin Island, Aniva Bay, Sea of Okhotsk), several specimens of Paracleistostoma cristatum De Man, 1895 were found. This finding extends considerably the range of this warm-water species northward. A detailed morphological description of the species is provided.
