Abstract

We, hereby, present, in a nutshell, the overall guidelines of the new hermeneutical criterion - founded by Tubingen school and developed by Giovanni Reale - from Plato's Dialogues which have as prerogative the so called dgrapJw dogmata (Unwritten doctrines) belonging to the philosopher. This article aims to make this criterion public, considering the difficulties faced by the previous criterion - from F. Schleiermacher - in the straightforward discussion with the essencial points of the platonicum thought and with self-testimony of the Athenian, himself; found in Fedro and in VII Letter.
