Abstract
AbstractThis work describes a reconfigurable parasitic insensitive switched‐capacitor resistor for proximity touch sensor readout circuits. In this scheme, the conventional programmable resistor bank array is replaced with a switched‐capacitor resistor where the resistance is reconfigured by varying the control clock frequency. Furthermore, the control clock is generated by a simple current source and capacitor based time‐mode oscillator that reduces the area of the readout circuitry. The proposed touch sensor readout circuit is implemented using CMOS 0.35 µm technology with supply voltage of 3.3 V.
