Abstract
AbstractThe acids obtained by hydrolysis of pyrethrum extracts, which are titrated in the pyrethrin II determination but which are not derived from pyrethrin II, have been investigated. Quantitative experiments have shown no correlation between false pyrethrin acid content and either the ratio of pyrethrin I to pyrethrin II or the total pyrethrin content.
