Abstract

The results of this study showed that an accelerated rehabilitation protocol improved muscle architecture and generated a smaller reduction in isokinetic torque and a larger reduction in muscle activation at high angular velocities compared to a traditional treatment, showing that this rehabilitation program was effective and safe.
