Abstract
based on the concept of anatomic double bundle ACL reconstruction it has been proposed to augment partial tears of the ACL by reconstructing the missing bundle. There are few data available in the literature on the outcome of such reconstructive surgery. This retrospective study has been undertaken to evaluate the results of such a strategy in the treatment of chronic (>3 months) tear of the ACL.
