Abstract

Surgically treated distal biceps tendon rupture (n=49) at the elbow using suture anchors in a single-incision technique reveals overall good to excellent subjective and objective results with high patient satisfaction in the short/mid-term follow-up (mean 42 months); however, complete restoration of isometric muscle strength (supination, flexion) and full range of supination were not achieved.
