Abstract

Panoramic radiographs of 1,415 participants in the Health Evaluation Program at the 109th annual session of the ADA in Miami Beach were studied for instances of periodontal disease, caries, periapical radiolucencies, endodontic abnormalities, radiolucent and radiopaque lesions, sinus disease, and impactions. Of those examined, the majority were between 30 and 49 years old; 49% had from 28 to 31 of their natural teeth.
