Abstract
Islets endothelial cell is one of the roost important ingredients of islets cell mass,with the unique features of highly heterogeneity and permeability, and glucose-dependent secretion of vasoactive substances. Islets endothelial cells not only participate in the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the islets endocrine cells, but also have tight relationship with the pathophysiological processes of islets angiogenesis, the development of endocrine pancreas, the induction of insulin gene expression, islets inflammation injury and islets grafts revascularization.
