Abstract
Pancharatnam phase in a mesoscopic Josephson junction (MJJ) in the presence of a single-mode quantized electromagnetic field is investigated. It is shown that when the field is initially prepared in a pure coherent state and the junction initially in its lowest energy level state, the time evolution of the Pancharatnam phase exhibits the interesting collapse and revival phenomenon.
