Abstract
Abstract Six palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes, [MX2(1,3-dac)] and [M(1,3-dac)2]Cl2 (M = Pd and Pt, X = Cl− and Br−) have newly been prepared (1,3-dac = cis-1,3-diaminocyclohexane). On the basis of the spectroscopic analyses, the structures of the complexes have been elucidated to be square planar. It was reasonably interpreted that interconversion of the ligand to the less stable diaxial conformer was taken place during complexation.
