Abstract

Living ring-opening polymerization of 2-alkoxy-1-methylenecyclopropanes has been achieved by π-allyl Pd complexes to afford polymers having alkoxy and vinylidene groups in the repeating units. A cyclic dinuclear Pd complex has been synthesized and utilized for the synthesis of cyclic polymers and block copolymers with narrow molecular weight distribution.
