Abstract
Abstractα‐Hydroxy carbonyl compounds undergo smooth O‐allylation using allylic carbonates and Pd(0) catalysts. This method has significant advantages over other O‐allylation methods as it provides a solution to several problems previously observed for this synthetic transformation.
