Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of benzene sulfonyl hydrazides with benzyltrimethylammonium salts via C–S bond and C–N bond cleavage is reported. This reaction proceeds under mild reaction conditions and provides a new strategy for the synthesis of various diarylmethanes with broad functional group tolerance in moderate to good yields.
