Abstract

Pakistan’s recent flooding caused major death and damage to the South Asian country, with disproportionate impacts to women and children. Integrated planning is needed to protect against future climate change exacerbated flooding events. Going forward, climate financing must incentivize reform and transparency in the government to mitigate future disasters.
