Abstract

In this paper a (3+1)-dimensional Boiti–Leon–Manna–Pempinelli (BLMP) equation, with time-dependent coefficients, is investigated. The integrability of this equation is performed by using the Painlevé test. We derive multiple soliton solutions and multiple complex soliton solutions via using on Hirota's direct method and symbolic computation. The obtained results enlarge the category of integrable equations with time-dependent coefficients.
