Abstract

Secondary neoplasia arising within a mature cystic teratoma is a well-documented phenomenon. Cutaneous neoplasms such as squamous cell carcinoma are most frequently reported. There are also infrequent reports of neoplasms arising from the cutaneous adnexal structures. Here we present a case of extramammary Paget’s disease arising within an ovarian mature cystic teratoma. There have been four previous case reports of this entity. One of these cases was associated with concomitant invasive carcinoma reminiscent of secondary extramammary Paget’s disease found elsewhere.
