Abstract
Extubation readiness assessment in paediatric patients has not been standardised.1 2 To further understand this area of care, we evaluated criteria for tracheal extubation readiness at a cardio-respiratory PICU. The aim is to improve compliance of assessment on neurological and respiratory factors, supported with documentation in >75% events of extubation.
