Abstract

Abstract The complete nature of the dark matter stays unsolved in the terms of the Standard Model. A possible solution suggests complete new class of particles which participate in interactions with Standard Model particles via newly introduced mediators, the so called portals. The Positron Annihilation into Dark Matter Experiment (PADME) aims to observe indirectly one of these portals — the dark photon A’, through the reaction e++ e- —> γ + A’. Two data acquisition runs were already performed in order to study detectors behavior, background levels and mainly to throw light in the A’ mass region for 2 - 23.7 MeV/c .
