Abstract

AbstractIn this literature survey different tests for quantitation of urinary leakage were assessed. Special attention was paid to test reproducibility and accuracy in the detection of urine loss. It is concluded that the reproducibility of the International Continence Society (ICS) 1‐hour test is not optimal, that the reliability of the ICS 1‐hour test is insufficient, and that the discrimination value for incontinence should be a urine loss of more than 1 g per hour. Recommendations for further research are made.
