Abstract

After years of frustration over not seeing a mental health reform agenda advance in the state legislature, Georgia behavioral health advocates appear to have a good chance to experience a better outcome in 2022. The state House of Representatives this month overwhelmingly approved a comprehensive bill that includes provisions for stepped‐up enforcement of insurance parity and relief for a crippling behavioral health workforce shortage.
