Prior to this position, Mr. Bierly has been Senior Vice President, Human Resources, of UNISYS Corporation and was deeply involved in the human and organization issues relating to the creation of UNISYS when Sperry Corporation and Burroughs Corporation merged. Before joining UNISYS, Mr. Bierly held the position of Director of Personnel for IBM Corporation's Americas/Far East Corporation through 1983. He received a Bachelor o f Arts degree in sociology from St. Lawrence University (1956). He is a member of the Labor Policy Association, Inc. and its Board of Directors. He has also served on the Board o f Directors of the Detroit Chamber of Commerce and the Employees Association of Detroit.
