Abstract
EuroPACE uses satellite technology to deliver education in engineering and technology to European industry and universities. PACECOM is a communications environment created by EuroPACE to provide electronic mail, computer conferencing, and library retrieval as on–line support for the EuroPACE programs. This paper looks at the objectives of PACECOM, and presents suggestions for improvement of the service and for maximising the benefits of the system.
