Abstract
This pavilion that is designed as a cultural sports and leisure time centre has the shape of 5,80 m high rectangular truncated pyramid. It consists of: ground floor with lobby, a great hall of the same height as the entire building, sports premises; a mezzanine floor with workshop and Ieisure time activity rooms. The structure is of reinforced concrete and consists of pillars that in their elevation have the shape of rectangular triangles whose hypotenuses that are situated on the outside, give the building its sloping form. The ceiling is formed by means of big box beams which rest on the pillars. The interior decoration is even in its smallest details made up by masonry elements which provide greater durability and resistance. Both on the outside as well as the inside the building is equipped with very elaborate lighting systems which create a vivid and attractive atmosphere. With this construction it has been demonstrated that even in smaller localities it is possible to achieve elegant public buildings within the framework of a reduced budget.
