Abstract

PTSD is common, costly, and impacts several brain networks, including the default mode network (DMN). A better understanding of the relationship between cortical volume/thickness of DMN regions and trauma history would be informative for etiologic and treatment considerations. The present study sought to determine the relationship between cortical thickness in DMN regions in veterans with PTSD symptoms and history of childhood trauma.
