Abstract

Clozapine is the only medication approved for both treatment resistant schizophrenia and suicidal behavior in patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. We therefore examined the extent of clozapine prescribing in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), the largest integrated health care system in the US.
